Christmas in Perth

It was a long and hot drive down to Perth for Christmas.  Doug had to sit in the back with us for most of the trip... wasn't he lucky!!??

We are now quite partial to eating out in restaurants... they always have ice-cream for us at the end...

Mum and Dad caught up with friends...

And had dinner with celebrities... (that's Dennis Commetti in the background...)

We had a great day out at Whiteman Park/Caversham Wildlife Centre...

By far this was the best thing there...

The animals were pretty cool too..

Very excited to see an Alpaca after seeing one next to Nanna's house in the hills...

Pretty at home amongst the farmyard animals...

Not so much the ostrich..

Back to the fun stuff...

Yep... all those animals to see and touch and we wanted the hippo...

Now the excitement is all over and we're back home..

We collected some rocks from the park and brought them home to paint.

Christmas in Hedland

As always, we caught up with Aunty Mel, Uncle Oak and Charlie just before Christmas...

After a late night catching up with Charlie on the Friday night, we woke up and Santa had visited Aunty Mel's house early!!  

Gotta love that...

There were presents going left, right and centre...

 They just didn't seem to end....

Charlie must have been good, coz Santa bought him a bike.  

 

That night we had a Christmas party....

Aunty Kat made us a special "Yule Log Cake"

It was yum!

This one was for the adults...

The next day we played on the slip and slide we got Charlie for Christmas...
