Latest Pics

Ok so it's been a while!  We've been busy with visitors, firstly Nanna, then Mel. Oak and Charlie, then Gran and Pop!  We are also getting our plants ready for the Dampier Fete.... well Mum and Dad have been.  What have we been up to????

Firstly, we've been loving Chicken Treat.. "Hot Chick Chick" as we call it...

Jem loves the Family Feast for $30 ...
So does Dad...
Oh ... and Dad couldn't resist buying 2 dozen strawberry plants (coz we don't have enough plants at home yet!)

Have you got any idea how much fun talcum powder is to play with!?
Full bottles are best - especially when Mum and Dad think you're sleeping!
Note to self... if am going to blame sister, should wipe face first....

We've been down the yacht club a few more times... here we are with the gang getting all the ice out of the cooler our Mum's were using for their champagne....

We've been loving the pool at the moment too... here we are taking a break from splashing around with a bit of morning tea (the cake Dad made!!)

Warming up in the sun with the girls...
Oh and still loving the skate park... here's Jess showing Eva all the cool ramps....  Jem's too busy on her bike...
We went down to the palms to watch the fireworks for guy fawkes.  It was such a windy night!  Jess thought these glasses were AWESOME...

Out on the boat

Perfect boat weather today!  First time in ages that Dad has taken a Saturday off so we took full advantage of it and set out early...
Jem didn't seem too impressed at first... taking time for a quick shut eye on the way out...
Quick peek to see if she'd missed anything.
Actually lucky she did... saw some dolphins, large hammerhead and fish out the side of the boat... the girls loved looking out the side!

Where's the big fish Dad?
 Jem keeps an eye out
Wanting to be just like Dad, Jem has a drive...
Out for a leg stretch and a swim...
And Dad gets a chance to throw a line in...

Took a walk out near where the tide would be coming in this afternoon.
Nope, we will not all look at the camera at the same time...

Back to the beach for a quick fish
But no luck, so Dad throws a line out on the way back so the girls get to see a fish..
This is the reaction.  Jess not so impressed.  Jem thinks it's hilarous that the fish was here and now it's "gone"
 Ahhhhh..... great day!

Potty Training...

So this week we've been practicing our wees and poos on the potty.  VERY exciting stuff!  We are getting pretty good now and hitting the potty most times... even been out during the week and kept our (Dora) knickers dry!!

So we spent a lot of time just chillin out at home "waiting" for the wees!
Dad had coloured some rice a few weeks back so we got that out again... that is soooooooo much fun (and sooooo messy)  ...
Last Friday arvo we went down to Jurat park with some friends... here we are having a swing while we waited for them..
 Yay!  A wee!!
Jess pulling up her "pull ups..."

Then we grabbed our chairs ... look how fast Jem ran - she ran past Jessica!  She was dying to put up her chair, then got so disappointed to find out that mum had accidently given her the table, so she had to run all the way back to the car again!!
Time for a snack now we're set up!
Just look at Jems curls!  With her Roxy top on, Dad thinks she's going to be a surfer...
This week at the skate park, we went to the cafe for a milkshake ... YUM!  Look at our new buddy... doesn't he like having his picture taken!

Then today we went down to the community hall for a free event that was put on by the shire... heaps of stuff for us to do including "cup cake making...." (our favourite)...
Jess couldn't believe all those lollies were hers... just how many wees would I have to do on the potty for all those!!??
This is a very serious business...
Ahhhh... sit back and relax now that all the hard work is done...
Then we watched a show by the LuLus - lots of singing and dancing... Jem gave one of the characters a hug afterwards...
During the week we learnt some new dance moves.. whatya think!?

Dampier Primary School carnival

On Thursday afternoon we headed down the oval to watch some of the Primary school "Twilight" carnival...
We will be running in the Kindy race down there in 2 years time...
Jem may just be the little athlete in the family, taking to the older kids for hints and advice...

Actually it's more fun if you don't put your legs down...
Arms off the ground is even BETTER!
Then a little 'debrief' on the walk home...
